Can I use a MasterCard Prepaid Card to make online purchases?

Hi, If a website says it accepts MasterCard, can I use a MasterCard Prepaid Card to make a purchase? On the MasterCard website, it's written that Prepaid Cards are accepted "everywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted", but I don't know if that means it can be used to make an online purchase like if it was a MasterCard credit card. Do you know if can use it online? If yes, what are the limitations? Thank you!

1. You can use them on-line as long as you don't exceed the limit of the card or you aren't signing up for a perpetual subscription (repeating monthly charges).
2. You should be able to use your prepaid M/C for online purchases. It can be used like a regular M/C, but some sites may not accept it, such as an online gambling site.
