Visa and Mastercards

How many of you had your visa card, home improvement cards?

rates double in the last couple of months. I do not have visa, master cards, no charge cards, daughter and son in law does....couple of friends, the rates doubled...if your credit card interest rates doubled what are you going to do? My daughter complained to the bank, they dropped the rates she can no longer use the card which is great, but some friends claimed theirs went to 32% OUCH.

1. all my credit card rates have gone up. i think the banks are trying to make money on the people that can pay to make up for all the bad debt they have.
2. I have not had any rates increased, but I discovered I had forgotten to close one when they informed me they were closing it for lack of use.
3. ZZ, you need to tell all your family to listen to a talk radio host named Dave Ramsey. Here is his web site: Dave Ramsey.com They will learn to tear up all credit cards, pay cash for everything, always buy used cars, get second jobs to get out of debt, budget, and put in place an emergency fund. All of these principles are "Bible based", Dave is a very spiritual man. I recommend him to you with all my heart.
