Visa and Mastercards

can someone tell me what the reloadable prepaid visa cards are like for Commerce bank?

Hi pplz, I kno that Commerce bank offers the Visa reloadable prepaid cards. I know that they're a little different than the ones in the pharmacies and what not, at least w. offering ss# and so forth (Commerce bank doesn't ask for a social security #, but ones in stores do). Can somebody tell me if their are other differences w. the Commerce bank card verses the ones in the stores? Thanks in advance. i learned recently that it isn't a prepaid in reality, its the gift cards....yea i was peed when i found that out...ty anyway though.

1. Wow, can't see how they aren't requiring a ssn. It's a federal law for banks to know who there customers are, and they all ask for ssn (even if they have alternate ways of verifying identities). Not sure of other differences with Commerce and others, though. In general, watch out for hidden fees and transaction fees seem like a bad idea.
